My practice focuses on fighting for individual’s rights in nursing home, medical malpractice, and employment issues.
I grew up in Winston-Salem, and upon graduating from Duke University, I moved to Washington, DC. After living and working in DC for 7 years, I decided to go to law school. I graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2014. While in school, I served as a staff editor of the Law Forum Journal. I also worked for several public interest associations in DC, including, Families Against Mandatory Minimums and the Fair Elections Legal Network. But perhaps my most rewarding experience in law school was working for the Innocence Project Clinic, helping those in prison who were wrongfully convicted.
After law school, my husband and I moved back to North Carolina where I joined the Law Office of David Pishko. David Pishko also happens to be my father. It is an honor to work side by side with not only my mentor and the man who made me want to practice law, but also one of the finest trial lawyers I have ever had the pleasure to know.
